Latrobe Women in Business is delighted to announce Monash Rural Health and Regional Imaging as Gold sponsors for An Evening with Professor Fiona Wood.
The School of Rural Health, which has a strong presence across Gippsland, plays an important role in improving health outcomes and developing the rural health workforce. It provides a regional base for undergraduate medical education programs at Monash University and supports training and continuing education for medical and health graduates.
The School of Rural Health also fosters research aimed at improving the health status of regional and indigenous communities.
Regional Imaging has been the major provider of medical imaging services and scans to the Gippsland community for more than two decades with six clinics in Morwell, Moe, Traralgon and Warragul. It has had a long association with Latrobe Regional Hospital as the main imaging provider and supports the radiology departments at Sale and Bairnsdale hospitals.
Regional Imaging is part of the I-Med Radiology Network, which is Australia’s largest medical imaging and radiology network with clinics in Queensland, New South Wales, Canberra and Melbourne.
LWIB values the support of Monash Rural Health and Regional Imaging for An Evening with Professor Fiona Wood featuring one of Australia’s most innovative and respected surgeons and researchers as guest speaker.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear from Professor Wood at the Premiere Function Centre, Traralgon on 7 September. Tickets available online.
