Latrobe Women in Business event at Narkoojee WineryFrom small beginnings come inspirational ideas

Start your 2019 being inspired by these Gippsland business success stories

Two local small businesses are making waves in the fitness industry, winning awards and inspiring other young entrepreneurs to have a go.

Steven and Kim-Alina BaldacchinoSteven and Kim-Alina Baldacchino / The 44 Gym and Traralgon Relaxation & Recovery Centre
Steven, a full-time Plumber and Kim-Alina, working in Business Administration have taken their part-time professional kickboxing careers to new heights.

With the closure of the Hazelwood Power Station, Steven took his small but growing kickboxing gym to the next level and turned it into his full time career. 12 months on and it is bigger than he ever thought possible. Together Steven and Kim opened the Traralgon Relaxation & Recovery Centre, which in its first year was a finalist in the Latrobe City People’s Choice Awards.

They continue to pursue their professional careers as athletes, learning new skills they can pass onto the next generation of students to motivate others to achieve their dream ambitions and show how possible it can be.
